Blogging with StampsnTea

November 17, 2021

Hello Everyone! Here we are just past the middle of November, the days are getting shorter and we've already had a couple of snowy days and nights. Someone said to me this week that Midnight comes early right now and it's only 6:oo p.m. 😄 Last week was Stampin' Up! ® OnStageAtHome and what a wonderful two days it was. Thursday evening was the Awards and Recognition night. It was wonderful to see so many deserving Demonstrators being recognized for their efforts and loyalty. Friday was mostly a Business type of day with motivational speakers. Saturday was the fun day with Demonstrators from around the world giving presentations and demonstrations using brand new products from the upcoming January - June 2022 Mini Catalogue and the next Sale-A-Bration Catalogue. Oh the products are wonderful and as an OnStage attendee I was able to Pre-Order some of the new products even before seeing the new catalogues.

These are my sample cards I made using the new stamp set called Blessings of Home and Dies called Flowers of Home.
As if that wasn't a busy enough weekend, our Grandson Tye came to visit on Saturday evening and stayed over until Sunday afternoon. He needed help to create a lot of cards to add to his 'stash'. This year he is selling his cards and 20% of the proceeds will be donated to the Pediatric Brain Foundation of Canada. All in all I think he went home with about 50 cards that we created together on Sunday. Then on Monday I went to check that my video had posted as scheduled and wouldn't you know it, the video was nowhere to be found. I had to recreate the video and post it again on Tuesday.  Here's the link to the video

As always, have a wonderful week and make some time for crafting.

November 10, 2021

Hello Everyone! Another week has come and gone and this week I'm prepping for Stampin' Up! ® OnStage@Home. This would normally be my time for a mini vacation and to meet up with thousands of other Demonstrators for a few days of workshops and networking, but due to Covid-19 most people are still being very cautious, so we'll celebrate another On Stage from the comfort of our living rooms. But hopefully next year.....  There are so many beautiful products made by Stampin' Up! ® that it's easy to create gorgeous cards and crafts. What do I like most about SU products you ask? It's that everything in a Stampin' Up! ® grouping matches. When I say 'grouping' I mean if you purchase Real Red cardstock and a Real Red ink pad, they match perfectly. If you add in some DSP (Designer Series Paper) that has Real Red in it, it will also match the cardstock and ink pad perfectly, and if I purchase the same products again in six months time, they will all match the original products so you don't have to worry about your ink being just a shade different than your cardstock etc. As usual I've made a YouTube video of the card(s) I'm sharing this week.  These cards used a product called Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Card Pack and the matching Cards & Envelopes. You can find these items on page 9 of the June - December Mini Catalogue.  https://youtu.be/8ZfmJ5yteQA

This month there is a super offer available for anyone who would like to become a Demonstrator. Pay just $100 for the starter kit and select $165 of products of your choice. Most customers normally spend around $100 on their order, so why not spend that $100 and get $165 worth of items of your choice? Let me know if you'd like to join and become a member of my team and I'll help you navigate through the channels to the right spot.

As always, have a wonderful week and make some time for crafting.

Blogging With Stampsntea

November 3, 2021

Wow, it's the first week of November! The temperatures have definitely taken a downturn all of a sudden. Frost in the mornings and extra blankets at night. But for the next week or so, there is supposed to be some sunshine (in the sky) everyday. You can always find some sunshine in your daily life, some days you just have to look a little harder than others to find it.  Well, I think as a Family we did our part for National Brain Tumour Day for the National Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada. I posted a photo's on social media of us all wearing our 'Hats for Hope' toques and when other people saw them they asked about ordering for themselves or making donations. About 33 hats were sold and several people made donations. A good effort all round and very much appreciated.  I posted last week that I was making Christmas cards to donate to the gift boxes for Canadian Peacekeepers that a lady in Port Dove makes. Last year they  made up 82 boxes. This year they're aiming for 50 and I already have my 50 cards made (phew!) Photo below.

I made a few of each card and changed the colours etc.

For my YouTube video this week I demonstrated the Double Gate Fold Card and used the new Stampin' Up! ® Eden's Garden Suite of products. all of the measurements are in the video. If you watch the video please leave a comment or a like.   https://youtu.be/EqrEfwp3IUw

December 17, 2022 Well here we are in a cold and snowy Ontario. We survived the latest winter storm and digging out the driveway. I'm so...
